FAQS

No, we welcome both registered and non-registered patients for emergency appointments.

The cost of an emergency dental appointment can be found on our fees page. The cost of your dental treatment can vary depending on the problem and any treatment required.

We will always explain any costs clearly before starting treatment.

We aim to provide immediate relief and may begin treatment during your emergency appointment. However, some treatments may require a follow-up visit depending on complexity.

No, a dental infection will not go away without treatment. While symptoms may temporarily improve, the infection will remain. Our dentists can give you full detailed advice during your appointment.

If you experience pain, trauma, swelling, or damage to a tooth, contact the practice as soon as possible. Our team will assess your situation and arrange an urgent appointment where needed.

During your appointment, the dentist will:

  • Examine the problem
  • Identify the cause
  • Relieve pain where possible
  • Explain your options

The priority is to get you comfortable and stabilise the issue.

Tooth pain can feel worse at night because lying down increases blood flow to the head, which can increase pressure in the affected tooth. There are also fewer distractions, making the pain feel more intense.

This was an emergency appointment for a broken filling There were no immediate appointments available. However Emma was able to offer one later the same day due to a cancellation as she knew I was going on holiday. I was extremely grateful. She is a great asset to your practice!

I have used this dental practice for years I know them. They are within walking distance from home I have used a dentist located along the road since I was taken as a child to mr Royle. Kingsclear came along years later and I just joined them at first with PPP and continue to do so as an oap I hope this helps
